Gasket made from foam plastic
Foam plastic (exspanded polypropylene) excels as a flexible and relatively soft material that is available in many densities and thicknesses from 1 to 250 mm. Double-sided adhessive tapes can be applied.
Typically used for packaging, insulation, filter gaskets etc.
Trade names: Plastazote, polyester, polyether, neopolen, trocellen, ethafoam, PE foam (Alveolit) (Alveolux).
